This sweet 3.5 year old loyal and wonderfully affectionate boy has a big personality, a gentle heart and a playful streak that has kept his foster family smiling these past weeks. He’s a bit of a chatterbox and, more than anything, just loves being part of the family.
Milo is toilet trained, sleeps soundly through the night and knows his basic commands including ‘sit, wait and stay’. He’s polite around food and is getting the hang of the doggy door. Fetch is still a “work in progress”, although Milo seems to think he’s already mastered it! 😂
Milo absolutely loves his walks and his forever family will need to be committed to two walks every day. He currently enjoys a 3–3.5km adventure each morning and another 1.5 km walk in the evening. As Milo is carrying some extra weight, continuing this exercise routine along with his strict, portion-controlled diet will be important to help him reach and maintain a healthy weight.
He’s a zoomie-loving, social little guy who thrives on canine companionship and needs a brother or sister who will genuinely enjoy playing and adventuring with him so, his forever home will need to include another friendly, playful dog with a similar energy level.
Milo craves to be part of family life. He loves couch snuggles, sleeping in your room and, if he gets his way, a morning cuddle on the bed. He has the sweetest habit of gently ‘cobbing’ your ears when he cuddles and beams from ear to ear when he’s getting affection. During the day you’ll often find him sunbaking or buried amongst the pillows and cushions. His other great love is your socks, which he proudly carries around like treasured possessions.
Milo is also learning that it’s okay when his people go out. He’s building confidence with periods of daytime independence and will need a family who will continue helping him with his separation anxiety.
For this gorgeous boy, the two big non-negotiables are:
1. A playful doggy brother or sister who will enjoy being his companion and playmate.
2. Two walks every day, along with a commitment to maintaining his portion-controlled diet and helping him continue his weight-loss journey.
In return, you’ll get a loving, goofy, affectionate and completely devoted little shadow who will bring an enormous amount of personality and joy to your family.
